
Elcio Danilo Russo Amorim, pseudonym Edra.
Edra is a cartoonist, editor, journalist and graphic designer from Caratinga – Minas Gerais, Brazil. He began his history as cartoonist in the Correio Brasiliense of Distrito Federal, Brazil in 1980. Ever since, he already acted in the Jornal de Brasília and Correio do Brasil where he edited for four years the childish magazine Small Club. He conquered several prizes in humor Living rooms. His books published are: Foot Odor (comic strips/1993), Somebody Disarranged My Kiosk (political cartoons/1997), If Somebody Laughs I Cry (cartoons/1998), What to Come I Accept (cartoons, political cartoons and caricatures/2003), And It Was Like This... (History of the carnival caratinguense/2005).
Edra was also organizer and co-author of the books: A Dose of the Humor of Minas Gerais (collection with twelve of the main cartoonists of Minas Gerais/2005), Closed Humor (with fifteen pioneering cartoonists of Brasília/2006) and Nobody Holds Caratinga in 2007.
Besides, Edra signs there are ten years the humor page in the Magazine Super Cabo TV and he is political cartoonist of the newspaper Diário de Caratinga since 2003, where he weekly publishes a column of art, culture, sport and leisure since September of 2006. Edra is also director/editor of the magazine Huai (Humor Whole Year) and he possesses more than three hundred company symbols created. He is still the creator of the International Living room of Humor of Caratinga. But that is not everything. There will be much more...
