Gust of the day - Toni D’Agostinho

Toni D’Agostinho - Born in 1974. Has a degree in Sociology (Escola de Sociologia Política de São Paulo), Dramatic Arts (Fundarte) and in Fine Arts (Escola Panamericana de Artes). In his career as a caricaturist, there are important events such São Paulo Automobile Show, The release of the DVD Cars (Disney) besides illustrations for the main publishers of Brazil like Abril and Globo. He caricatured the cast of the play “Trair e Coçar é só Começar” , participated of the “Latinidades” SESC show of Arts. In 2006, because of the World Cup, he was invited by SESC (in Vila Mariana) to organize the exhibition (Futebol Pensado) in association with Baptistão and Carlinhos Muller. Recently, he drew caricatures for the “Show do Tom”, a TV program (Record Channel) and for “Raul Gil”, another Tv program (Bandeirantes TV).

Nowdays, he draws political cartoons for several newspapers in Brasil, works as playwrite and released his first book of caricatures 50 razões para Rir (50 reasons to laugh).
